Designing a Space That Breathes Materials, Textures & Ideas!

When the Erayaa Group approached us to design their commercial space for their hardware and materials studio, we knew this would be a unique and exciting challenge. A space that would not just display products—but celebrate materials, textures, and colours in their full glory.

The Design Approach

Right from the start, the site inspired us—a beautiful tree at the entrance, a prominent exposed brick facade, and great road visibility to showcase their products even before one steps in. The goal was clear: Blend aesthetics with functionality while creating focal points that attract and engage. We worked through multiple prototypes, countless discussions, and material explorations before finalising a design that reflects both the brand's identity and the beauty of their products.

Facade & Exterior

From the road itself, the focal points—especially the premium products—are visible, with playful lighting and shadow creating layers of depth and visual drama. Exposed brickwork acting as a perfect canvas for the signboard and exterior highlights. The tree at the entrance adds a natural welcome.

Entrance & Material Display

A quiet sense of elegance greets you the moment you step inside. The reception zone blends understated luxury with tactile warmth — from the soft grey couch to the layered wooden backdrop. Behind the desk, a curated display of materials — alabaster, fluted acrylic, birch ply, and more — sets the tone for what the space promises: a celebration of texture and craftsmanship. Flanked by greenery and natural light, this corner offers more than a first impression — it offers a preview of thoughtful design, function, and form working in quiet harmony.

Discussion Zone

A central wooden discussion table that acts as the heart of the studio and means crisp business. Surrounded by meticulously organised laminate folders and sample shelves along with a TV unit display panel is with a stunning Alabaster panel, backlit for emphasis. One wall lined with fluted charcoal sheets, another section showcasing artificial grass, premium laminates, and decorative panels.

Cabin Design

A glass-framed partition door leads into a thoughtfully designed cabin. Here, a custom-built table with a Korian top and premium finishes takes center stage, complemented by charcoal sheet cladding and accents of white and grey to enhance space perception along with a contemporary glass writing panel doubles as a whiteboard.
